Thames Valley Enterprise Hub client, Speed-Trap, has won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2008. This prestigious annual prize is awarded to businesses that display continuous innovation and development to levels that are outstanding for the size of the company’s operations.
Chief Executive of Speed-Trap, Geoff Shingles CBE, comments, “The challenge of the web is that it is a global phenomenon where huge numbers of users are involved. It’s easy for enterprises and the public sector to treat people as large homogenous groups. But people are not groups, they are individuals! Speed-Trap has developed web software that lets enterprises give their customers the individual treatment by easy access to each and every person.”
Thames Valley Enterprise Hub Manager Tracey Sanderson commented, “We’re delighted at Speed-Trap’s success, which is well deserved, and we look forward to continuing to support them through their next stage of growth.”
